Will Prevail Aid Station SALVation make me high? 

No. The CBD (Cannabidiol) in the Aid Station SALVation does not have any "high" effect. 

Are your products going to make me test positive for a drug test? 

Nope.  Our Aid Station SALVation topical will NOT test positive on a drug test. CBD is approved by WADA (the World Anti-Doping Agency) With a topical versus an oil, the cannabinoids (THC) aren’t able to penetrate into the bloodstream. Topicals are used to address localized pain and inflammation, but they don’t work systemically. 

Trying out our full spectrum CBD oil? Please be aware that there is a very slim chance that you could test positive on a drug test because full spectrum oil does contain trace amounts of other cannabinoids, including THC (under .03%). It is extremely rare that such a small amount would ever show up on a drug test, but if you’re tested regularly you may want to play it safe and only use our salve instead of our oil.

Are your products free from pesticides and chemicals? 

YES. We maintain strict quality control through third-party testing of every batch, keeping an eye on potency, pesticides, heavy metals and microbial levels. This ensures that our customers get the cleanest, highest quality and most consistent available. Our test results are always available upon request. 

What IS CBD oil?

Can your product be shipped to all 50 states? 

Yep! Unlike THC containing products, ours is legal to ship to you no matter what state you are in. 

Do you ship to Canada?

Due to increased customs and border procedures, we no longer ship our CBD oil to Canada because our products were being seized. We do, however, ship our salve product to Canada, but we do caution you, there is always a small chance that it might either be delayed due to border control or possibly even not make it there, in which case we would simply refund you for your order.

Is your product really a good value? 

When shopping for CBD products, always look at the total milligram content and the cost per mg. Prevail's Aid Station SALVation packs 1,000mg of CBD into our strong and mighty 2 oz. salve stick, which is why it is so effective. Used moderately, the product should last 1 person approximately 45+ days. Our smaller “trail size” .35 oz sticks have 167mg of CBD. Small, yet mighty.

How much should I apply? 

Most of our product users rub the salve stick directly on the pain point areas, then gently rub it in further with their fingers to maximize the absorption. You should see a slight "shiny" layer over your skin, and that's the sign that you've applied the right amount. Less is often more. This stuff is powerful and potent! 

How long will it take for me to feel the effects of the topical? 

It varies. Because every single user is different as well as the levels of pain they are facing, it varies. We have heard users report feeling the effects of Prevail in as little as 5 minutes, whereas other users apply it before bed and notice a significant difference the following morning.  We encourage you to test and measure what works for you.

Is Prevail going to fix ALL the pain I have from my workouts?

Probably not! We strongly encourage you to do the other practices that help you in being the best runner possible. Icing, foam rolling, yoga, stretching, getting enough sleep, elevating your legs, massage, and eating a healthy diet. Prevail is not the "miracle" or "cure-all," but if used properly may greatly enhance your running experience!

ARE PREVAIL BOTANICAL’S products organic? 

Yes. With that said, it's currently not possible to obtain organic certification for hemp, but we use organic farming practices and no pesticides ever on our small hemp farm in Colorado. 

Are your products tested on animals? 

Never.  All of our ingredients are vegan except for beeswax, which is used to bind our salve for firmness and keep it from melting in high heat.

WHAT IS CBN? HOW IS IT DIFFERENT THAN CBD?

CBN on its own does not produce intoxicating effects, however, to the best of our knowledge, the effects of this cannabinoid have not been fully researched in human subjects. THC produces its effects on the body by interacting with the cannabinoid receptors in the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which are located in the central nervous system and throughout the body. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP AND CANNABIS?

The main difference between the two is in their chemical composition, specifically in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the chemical responsible for marijuana’s psychological effects.
